Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21, 1983. Maggie Grace is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. Her parents had divorced and they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first part as Rachel's Room's title character the web-based video show Rachel's Room in 2001. The actress was able to secure a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress on Lost in its two initial seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Grace left the show to focus on her professional film work. She had starred alongside Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The actress has also appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 as well as in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) are her re-casts of roles. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost in the series, which included the conclusion. The year was 2013, and she appeared in the sixth episode of Californication. She plays Faith who is both an avid stargazer as well as a the girl in the group.
