Aisling B a is born on on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actress writer and comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea began her stand-up comedian in 2011. After 2012 she had been being featured in sketch comedy programs, sitcoms, and other similar programming. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her sister-in-law. In 2012 she was the only woman to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her name to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was three years old. She did not know the cause of his death until she reached the age of 13. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her late father. She also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide story. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was a professional jockey. They were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea was initially an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her passion was for acting, not racing.
